At Crown Sport Nutrition we are proud to be able to announce this collaboration agreement with Stop Accidentes, an association dedicated to helping and guiding those affected by traffic accidents ( //stopaccidentes.org ).
Stop Accidents is one of the most active and recognized non-profit associations throughout Spain. Its objectives are: "to raise awareness among the public, the political and judicial class to fight against road crime, as well as to provide psychosocial and legal assistance to the victims of road violence; advocating for road education in all its fields."
At Crown Sport Nutrition we consider it essential to provide our support and help to all athletes who train on the roads of Spain and who often suffer accidents and incidents, becoming victims of road violence. That is why, through this one-year collaboration agreement, we will organize, in coordination with Stop Accidentes, different actions and awareness campaigns.
27 cyclists have died so far this year, 33 cyclists died in 2016, ten fewer than in the previous year (Road Safety Report 2016, DGT), which is why it is essential to continue raising awareness in society that behind every athlete who trains on our roads there is a name, a surname, and a life story that must be protected and defended.
Pol Gieco, CEO Crown Sport Nutrition, "we are proud of this agreement, since Stop Accidentes is one of the most recognized and active associations nationwide. We hope that with the help and collaboration of everyone, there will be fewer and fewer athletes suffering accidents on our roads."
«Crown Sport Nutrition aims to help athletes achieve their sports goals; on this occasion, we want to help them by putting all our effort into: making cyclists visible on the roads and appealing to responsible driving. That is why throughout this year we are going to carry out different actions to raise awareness among all users about the importance of road coexistence.
During the next week we will announce the first action of the agreement between Crown Sport Nutrition and Stop Accidents.
