3:1 Recovery+ is designed to support recovery after demanding training and competition with carbohydrates, whey protein isolate, leucine, glutamine, vitamins and minerals.

  • Carbohydrates: combines dextrose and maltodextrin (1:1), two high-glycaemic-index sources that optimise glycogen replenishment.
  • Protein: contains only whey protein isolate (WPI), which is rapidly absorbed and rich in essential amino acids.
  • L-leucine: extra leucine helps reach the “leucine threshold”, activating protein synthesis via mTOR for optimal recovery (Phillips, S. M. et al., 2016).
  • L-glutamine: helps maintain immune-system function, particularly after prolonged exercise (Calder, P. C. et al., 1999; Bumrungpert, A. et al., 2018).
  • Vitamins: provides at least 15% of the NRV to support the physiological processes involved in recovery.
How to use

Mix 50 g of product, equivalent to one heaped scoop or one sachet, with 250 ml of water. Shake well and drink immediately after physical activity.

3:1 RECOVERY+ is a premium muscle-recovery formula that provides all the nutrients needed to optimise recovery in sports where strength endurance predominates.

Its composition is balanced to provide a 3:1 ratio of carbohydrates to protein, considered ideal for supporting energy and muscle recovery and promoting a favourable hormonal environment after exercise (Margolis, LM. et al., 2020; Kraemer, WJ. et al., 1998).
