3:1 RECOVERY+
3:1 RECOVERY+ is a high-quality muscle recovery supplement that provides all the necessary nutrients to optimize recovery in strength-endurance sports.
Its formula is balanced to provide a 3:1 carbohydrate-to-protein ratio, considered ideal to boost both energy and muscle recovery, as well as to promote a favorable hormonal environment after training (Margolis, LM. et al., 2020; Kraemer, WJ. et al., 1998).
3:1 RECOVERY+ Formula
- Carbohydrates: combines dextrose and maltodextrin (1:1), two high glycemic index sources ideal for replenishing glycogen post-exercise (Mata, F. et al., 2018).
- Proteins: contains only whey protein isolate (WPI), rapidly absorbed and rich in essential amino acids, ideal for post-workout muscle recovery (Wilson, J. et al., 2006; Zawadzki, KM. et al., 1992).
- L-Leucine: added to reach the so-called “leucine threshold”, crucial for activating post-workout recovery systems such as protein synthesis via mTOR (Phillips, SM. et al., 2016).
- L-Glutamine: helps support immune function, especially after prolonged effort (Calder, PC. et al., 1999; Bumrungpert, A. et al., 2018).
- Vitamins: added to reach at least 15% of NRV to support recovery processes.
- Minerals: includes sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium to promote rehydration after exercise.
This ingredient matrix is designed for optimal absorption and rapid delivery of nutrients to muscle cells, enabling efficient muscle recovery.
